As educators, contractors, restaurant workers, engineers, stay-at-home moms, artist and more, we are ordinary people, doing ordinary things but with Gospel intentionality. Our primary strategy for local missions is loving our neighbors and neighborhood. Instead of focusing on attractional events we focus on being an attractional community built through intentional friendships with people who are not like us. We feel a Christian community is one of the primary ways to demonstrate the effectiveness of the gospel.

 

We also started Thrive New Orleans, a Christian Community Development organization that focuses on affordable housing, small business training for minority entrepreneurs and job training through Restoration Thrift. 

 

As for foreign missions, that's a work in progress for us. We hope to build relationships with missionaries and partner with them in a way that develops and supports their local leaders.
